Just downloaded the whole course and I took a quick look at the PDF included, it's exactly what I'm looking for.
I'm having a hard time understanding/learning Swedish by just listening to my SFI teacher, I needed such a resource along with Svensk Grammatik på Engelska. Thank you very much ~ |

Let us know how it worked for you! They (the FSI) quote 24 weeks to fluency for study in a small group with a tutor, but I am interested in how well it works in a self-study setting...

Cheers. I'd come across this before and never noticed the PDF! I'm just finishing up SFI and it's good to have something to reinforce in a different manner what has been taught at school.

Cheers, I had anticipated enrolling for SAS grund in the autumn but having read feedback from various people about the course content I've been totally put off that idea.
I have completed SFI, I had expected that it would give me a much better grounding in Swedish but have to say that I was very disappointed in that it really only gives a very very low level of proficiency. I give this a lash in the autumn when I will have more time on my hands and see how I get on. |

Wow! Thanks so much for this. I just completed the first tape on vowel sounds. This gives me plenty of time to practice before I actually arrive. Great!
