Hey everyone
I have American insurance that I pay monthly and was wondering if it's accepted in Sweden. My personal plan is covered overseas but I'm unaware of of Swedish dentists operate and weather or not I will need a personal number for an appointment. If I don't need a personal number could some be so kind and recommend a dentists in the Stockholm area? I thought I could wait this out, but it looks like I'm going to have to bite the bullet (or not lol) and go see a dentists. |

You do not need a personal number as long as you pay up front.
Very few dentists have collaboration with US insurers, so you will have to pay up front and later get reimbursed by your insurance. To be sure that your dentist is approved by your insurer you have to contact the insurance company and ask which dentists they recommend in Stockholm. |
