I am an EU citizen and I am trying to fill out a right of residency form. I don't have a job at the moment but plan to get one as soon as I can. The form requested "Certificate or similar document confirming that you have a pension or independent means." How much money do I need to prove I have? And what do they mean by "certificate or document" is that just a bank statement?
Thank you for the help. |

They want to see a revenue stream from an annuity like a retirement fund, pension, insurance or lottery winnings, something that cannot be canceled. Having a set amount in the bank is generally not good enough proof of adequate means as a lump sum can disappear. However if you are an EU citizen you can simply come and resister your right of residency if staying over 90 days. You will however most likely need to have that job you spoke of. Good luck.
