I really want to watch this at 4.45pm today. Has anyone had any success in streaming RTE player from Sweden? A free proxy perhaps?

do a web search for free proxies from the uk, punch them in, check they work, then get it streaming via bbc sport website

Ok I did watch the bout, not sure if I am comfortable with women boxing but if they are going to fight we might as well get the gold medal

These people have dynamic DNS aimed towards the uk scene which means greater speeds

It is possible to get around RTE's IP restrictions in two ways - find an Irish proxy IP (fairly rare unless you're paying and often extremely slow when you can find them) or use Tor and set the Exit Node to IE. You can find a guide about how to do it here. It will definitely break the geo IP restriction but there's no guarantee of speed unfortunately. It's probably better to look for alternative sources where possible though with the GAA, that's not always the case.

Make that web search free of charge extensions from the uk, punch people on, examine they will work, and then have got that watching on bbc sport web page

Bit late now but if you google olympics , on the right comes up watch live or somethign else i can't remember it gives you all the online channels you can watch you may get it their.
