U'a has one redeeming feature - Clas Ohlson.
I pity the citizens of U'a though, having to foot the bill for the advent of IKEA. With all the millions that IKEA make, it is U'a that is having to provide and prepare the site, and more recently, the increased VA costs for supply to the new site. The tunnels north are going to need reinforcement for the increased traffic, the new access roads at Torp, and heaven knows what else. Thank heavens I live north of U'a.
Other than that, apart from the aforementioned C.O. Uddevalla has little to commend it, I fear, and is also a town that suffers from the vagiaries of the sea from time to time. Happily not to the extent of many of the places that we have seen in the UK of late.
Hopefully your home is nowhere near the river - Bäveån I believe it is called. Anyway - Welcome to Northern Bohuslän.
