Just wanted to clarify - once obtaining a PUT, I'm assuming you can stay in Sweden indefinitely, leading to citizenship, right?
Can you also travel outside of the country and have no problems getting in? I'm talking about going to the US for several months, and then back. Thank you. |

Once you obtain PUT you can come and go as you please. You cannot however reside elsewhere for over one year. A Put can lead you to citizenship after 5 years, 3 if your are married to a Swedish citizen if you stay out of trouble legally and financially.
