How Notary Public works in Sweden

Where are the offices?

Hi, does anyone have experience of handling notary public issues in Sweden? How does it work?

We have some document that needs to be certificated, banks refused to do it which is very strange in other country as I know.

We have all original documents, just want to certificate photocopies.. that is it.. And is it free for all people?

In Sweden You have to be a Lawyer (or at least have a law Degree) to become a Notary. Just find a law firm that has the service available, and You will be charged for the service.

The link in the post above is the Notary that I used to certify documents for an Embassy. I called around 8 different places in Stockholm that were provided to me by the local Police station and this was the best price at 150kr. They only accept cash though and will charge for each document, but not each page. Hope this helps, Good luck!
