Teeth whitening in Sweden (at home)

Hi all!

I know it's trendy in Sweden to have whitened teeth and I was thinking to do that, too. My dentist (in my home country) is against it, though. He would never recommend it to anyone, ever. My concern is that I have a couple of fillings, including one with mercury which I got 9-10 (?) years ago. Would whitening be recommended in this case?
Also, has anyone tried Deluxe Teeth Whitening hemmatandbleknings-kit?

No, it's not recommended and yes, I tried it and it is rubbish. Waste of money.
