Hey Garry!
Wait a bit...go back and read what you have just said... "Your answers prove what I thought, that Sweden is a society of tolerance and acceptence, something SD voter need to wake up to." And then you say you want to deny the SD a chance to speak and be heard...isn't it a duty of a society that you describe as tolerant and accepting, to allow free speech to all? If it was not for the sheep like adherence to PC and the fear of blind and mindless retribution for voicing an honest opinion, you would hear a lot more truth than you can handle...shame on you for denying the chance of others to to speak. You should rethink your position...PC is a horror that Orwell described as "New Speak" and it's advocates are akin to mind control and domination of free thought and spirit...when advocates of PC are hunted down and finally brought to justice, I hope you have a warm cell. |

Do the SDs have a position on homosexuality? I thought their main platform was controlled immigration.

Quote, source wiki:
-------------- The Sweden Democrats are in favour of the traditional nuclear family and believe that every child should have "one father and one mother", according to their website. According to the Social Democrat Björn Andersson's blog, SD is opposed to adoption rights for homosexual couples, and to letting lesbian women become inseminated -------------- I am all for tolerance of political views. However when one oversteps the mark and has a political belief that is so fundementally flawed I think it needs to be exposed. I am sure many SD voters do so because they are anti-(black)immigrant. However how many of those that vote for SD know they are voting for a party that would forbid Anja Pärson to become a mother? In my arguments against the SD I rely upon my own gut feeling. I am very much pro-immigrant and feel Sweden should be able to take in many more than they do. I also feel we have to live and let live. Sure we can allow the SD to have their party and their beliefs but by playing the anti-black(immigrant) card they are getting people to vote for a whole host of policies they are unaware of. My wording provoked the answers I wanted. I have now used many of your arguments. I am trying to turn a SD voter into a non-SD voter. |

Sverigedemokraterna are boring fascists. Many in their ranks come straight from old neo-Nazi organisations such as Bevara Sverige Svenskt. No one in their right mind votes for them, their voter base consists of mostly young undereducated, unemployed males living in Skåne.

In all societies/countries, there's always going to be a certain section of society who are against gay parenting - whether for religious or their version of moral reasoning. I'm not sure trying to ban or delete their opinions will help. It's probably better to allow these opinions and let people see the debate that arises from it, then make their own decisions if they're previously undecided. I'm not sure you can enforce a specific view on a matter such as this, nor does it appeal to my libertarian side.

People never have and never will completely agree with anything...it's the way we are...neither side of any issue has the right to deny, denigrate, smear, threaten, etc.. the another.
That'a why elections are needed...when those that have lost an election; they can no longer can enforce their beliefs on others...however the way the world changes...today's "loser" may well be on the way back to being accepted again. The wheel always comes full circle...you just have to wait for your turn. If we were sent back to the 1950's how do you think this discussion would end up...most likely it would never be discussed at all. |
