I agree, Seamus. Sweden turned out to be much different than I had anticipated. Not necessarily in a bad way.

Unless you are moving with a partner or for a good career move, it is unlikely that you would undertake moving to another country unless there was something missing in your life that you felt you couldn't find at home. Unfortunately these things tend to follow you around and its disappointing not to find it somewhere else. If loneliness is your problem, then Sweden may not be the best place. If you want to be left alone and you just want to explore nature then it is probably a good choice.
