Basically I was having a similar discussion this week, and the conclusion was that apartments that are in stockholm that have seen the greatest increase in market value have been smaller apartments of around 50sqm
With many families moving further out of stockholm, to help offset the high costs of stockholm. This has created a market of many smaller apartments appealing to professional singles, or D.I.N.K.S. (The 80's really has caught up with Sweden LOL). As for areas near your profession ... it depends what you can afford. If you are looking for space, or location. |

I personally would shy away from a new build, mostly because of the high monthly fee which are usually associated with new builds. But if you are a fan of new builds and dont mind such ....
As for areas, IMHO ... they all seem non central. Solna and Sundyberg have good transportation links which can mean a similar time frame or even shorter when commuting to the city. I cant comment on the other areas mentioned as they are places I have never felt the need to visit. My opinion is once you are outside of the city, you are outside of the city ... regardless how much closer it may be in comparison to the next place. I dont think there are bad areas (generally) just more so areas that would depress the sh*t out of me if I had to live there. And make life miserable ... but you know, different horses for different courses. |
