Hi
I unfortunately had my bicycle shamelessly stolen in broad daylight yesterday from outside of Alvsjo station. Darren. |

Darren,
what bike is it? I wouldn't normally advocate such, but it could be a good idea to leave a mobile contact number just in case any forum member spots it. |

Submit a police report right away over here:
http://www.polisen.se/Utsatt-for-brott/Gor...n-via-Internet/ I hope you have the frame identification number, it helps a lot. And yes, it does work, I have had a super-expensive bicycle found and returned to me by Polisen. ~~~PDX~~~ |

Thanks your help, i'll certainly take a look at the suggested sites. Its a Brown Apollo Vortice size 17 frame. Its my wifes bike which makes its worse. Although not an expensive bike its travelled everywhere with us and means more than the monetary value.
Unfortunately i do not have a frame number but i have reported it to the police now. I should have seen the signs really, there's always broken locks around the station but you just don't think that it would happen in the day with so many people around. Anyway, i've attached a photo... you never know. Once again thanks for the help. |

Pop down to the local BMX track in Alvsjo and have a word with a few of the kids to keep their eyes peeled.
Many bikes are often chaved by junkies and offloaded at the usual fixed price of 500:- You may need to offer a similar priced reward, but could be more fruitful. Also be prepared for it to be spray bombed if you get it back. |

I'd also put a flyer in the local tempo or other stores around town with a reward. It may help (did for me).
Facebook also has these "For sale" pages for areas, maybe see if there is one for your local area. Good luck with it. |
