Yes. You are correct. I was surprised myself. There are about as many Swedes in the UK as there are people in Iceland.

Prize...hmmm..well not everything I have done has succeeded I have a massive inventory of purses, vases, and assorted knick knacks. Take your pick and I will mail you one. Don't want to PM your address and name then I can mail it to an organization or workplace of your choice.

I don't think so.

Iceland has a population of 320 thousand, Malmö, 295 thousand, and Uppsala 128 thousand.
The Swedish embassy in London usually estimates that there are 50 thousand Swedes living in London.
London is thus somewhere around the 20th biggest town in Sweden.

Notice...I said UK vs. Iceland not London Vs. Iceland. There are about 300,000 Swedes in the UK.

We could duke it out over the total in London but I will pass. If its not "true" then at least its Swedish folklore among some Swedes I know and one of the Swedish posters here.

Sorry, did not see that. Anyway the question was: what city has the 4th largest Swedish population. And the answer is Uppsala.

I highly doubt that 300' Swedes live in the UK; it is rather somewhere under 100', since most of them live in London.

Yes, I've also heard that expression plenty of times before. You should read Råttan i pizzan, a famous book about Swedish folklore. Very interesting book.
