Anybody knows the speed of postal services in Sweden, i.e. how many days would it normally take for a mail to be sent from Stockholm to Malmö? Thanks!

Very fast 1 to 2 business days max depending on what time you drop it off at the office.

^ what he said, I think Posten claim that over 99% of mail is delivered within 2 working days anywhere within Sweden.
+ if you need an urgent delivery you can pay an extra 95kr for next day express delivery or 150kr for Express delivery on a Saturday. |

Are you talking about A post or B post!
- letters sent A post should take 1-2 days - but B post may take 4-5 |

Thanks guys! I am not aware of the difference between A or B post. If you just go to post office to mail a "regular mail", would it be A or B post?

It will most likely be A-mail, i.e. normal postage. B-mail is reduced postage and takes a bit longer.

If you just go to post office to mail a "regular mail", would it be A or B post? My experience is that they will always sell you the A post stamp unless you specifically ask for B post. (but I never had so I don't know what the reaction would be.) B post is most widely used by businesses for junk mail and the likes. |

Post is not delivered on weekends, but if you drop something in the postbox on a Saturday or Sunday it will be delivered on Monday. Sorting and shipping is still done 24/7.
