(edit title) Finding Local "Artisanal" products in Sweden -Farm Fresh in Skane Options

Hello Locals,

I am helping a friend launch a beach side cafe in the north Malmo area. We are looking to add some fresh sandwiches to the menu but we really want to use products primarily from Skane region or at least produced in Sweden. But I am having a very difficult time isolating any kind of Artisanal community. We would like to source vegetables and meats from local farms and producers, but I we don't have the resources to investigate each farm guessing what they produce and hoping it matches needs.

What I am hoping and looking for is either a list, association, store, market where you can find Skane made products all in one place. If any one know of something like this or similar or any suggestions at all, that would be amazing. Thank you for any consideration and suggestions.

Hey! Sounds like a great venture and I applaud you for wanting to use top quality product.

There is a book published yearly called Matarvet - Gårdsbutiker och Mathantverkare and you can take a look at www.matarvet.se . They have about 1000 listings of various smallholders throughout Sweden, broken up by area and they feature a blurb about the farm, what products they do and contact info. The book costs about 40-50kr. Best of luck!
