Just wondering if it is possible to return HI-FI I bought today in MediaMarkt.
It is all unpacked and I am not 100% happy with its performance. If it is still in original packing there is no problem, but is not in my case. Have you ever returned any electronics to shop after using it? |

If you got it from El Giganten probably no problem at all, but you stand no chance with Media markt. Never buy anything from them, their aftersales and return service is crap, they are a total bunch of ass*oles . Always shop at El Giganten, their return policy and aftersales are in my experience really good.

I guess that you would need to ask them
If you have opened and used the product then I'm not sure that they will take it back unless there is a fault |

If there is a fault with the product You have the right by law to take it back with or without the packaging, you just need to prove You bought it from there.
However, when it comes to "Öppetköp" or "bytesrätt", that is not governed by any consumer laws, the shop decides the rules to apply. Some are better than others. If the receipt says "obruten förpackning", then since you have opened it they can refuse according to the rules they have stated on the receipt. Media Markt can be tough on that, others have more Goodwill and will accept a return if the packaging is in a state where they can resell the product returned. FYI... the "obruten förpackning" on the receipts is one reason why the number of products coming in those damned heat sealed, impossible to open easily, plastic packaging has increased over the years. Partly cost, but also they don't have to take them back since to test the product you have to cut open the package. |

Yesterday i have returned the Laptop that i bought week ago.. they asked me for the receipt, original packing and 600 SEK to refresh the system... everything went fairly smooth i just told them that i am not happy with the laptop.
Since you do not have original packing that might be a problem... but i guess its worth trying. All the best. |

i bought a photo printer from them, it had a label on it saying that the contents had been checked by M M when I opened it there were 3 things missing I took it back and got a refund after a little argument. Do not buy anything that has this label on it, it is a returned item. It has happen to 3 people i know.

Thanks a lot guys,
It looks like it's possible as long as I have all packaging and do it within 30 days of purchase. At least that what I was told by 2 different people working at MM. Obviously the item has to be complete and in a perfect condition. |
