(edit title) Paragraph seperation and capitalization Options

I think we should be able to seperate our posts into paragraphs. As it is right now, if I press enter twice like now...:

it doesn't show up. And another thing, why is my username 'Theswede' when I typed it in as 'TheSwede' when I was registering to the forum? I may sound picky but still...

And another thing! :x Why is it that it appears impossible to post images on this board? A couple folks have, so it is possible, but following the directions supplied, all that appears it but no picture?

Oops... now that I look at my post the seperation does indeed show up. Wow is this board consistent or what. :?

Go into Update Details and try fixing your user name. You might be able to seperate it into two words, like "The Swede" and have that work for you.

doesn't work, check where you are hosting them and make sure that external linking is enabled and that there isn't a bandwidth limit. Yahoo/Geocities pages will often limit the amount of bandwidth and if you go over it temporarily stops serving the picture. Photobucket, Flickr, or the like are pretty good for hosting images and not doing that.

Link word

Computers are stupid and you must tell them that you are going to do some smart stuff.
so [ tells the computer that something smart is on the way.

But as the computer is not that smart you need to tell them what sort of smart stuff follows. so "url=" means here comes a link....

[.... url=this is the link....

then you have to describe the link, which is just text so we tell the computer we are done with smart stuff byusing a closing "]"


[.... url=this is the link....] some descriptive text of our link

and then you need to tell the computer you are done with fancy stuff and want to go back yo writing pure text again. the computer aint smart so we tell it here comes an instruction with [
and then we tell it that we are done with our link "/url" and finally that we are done with taxing its little brain with a "]"

we all have to start somewhere. Too often the explainers start out "somewhere" too far down the line of understanding for us n()()b (did i get that right?)...but your explanation was the bomb.
