i have been here for some months. I want to buy condoms, but i just dont understand why condoms are so hard to find. I have been to several shops like ICA, Hemköp etc. In the UK condoms are usually placed close to where the cash machine operator is. I want to know what brand names are available here, and where do they place them. I have been to Apoteket, maybe they sell under the counter? Any one out there with a similar experience?

Oh, poor Mbix, just go up a lady in one of the white coats at the Apotek, and say in a firm voice that you want a packet of condoms.

I'm sure you'll get one.

love it, you signed up just to ask about condoms...

they are easily available in Apotekets...in the dildo section...

Or just use tissue. you only need condoms if you are actually having intercourse.

They are usually close to the cash registers here too, or behind the cash registers in shops with theft problems.

Apoteket is the place. I hate how they come in such small quantitites though. In America I could buy like 100 packs and stuff. Not that I got any, the emphasis is on "could."

Huh? Where the hell are you?

I don't know if Helsingborg is an abnormally horny city, but I see condoms on display for sale almost everywhere; Hemköp, Coop, 7-11, Apoteket, etc.

In most shops (besides Apoteket), they're behind the counter at the checkout, so you do need to ask for them (don't be shy, now!), but at Apoteket they're in the shelves with the lube. 8)

Normally about 7 inches, but they stretch... or you can leave part rolled up...

At my local Coop Forum if you want to buy certain high-theft items (cigarettes, condoms, razor blade refills, etc.) you must first buy a ticket from a machine located near the cash registers. Then the cashier scans the ticket and you pay for the item(s). Then you take your ticket to a dispensing machine, which scans its barcode and then dispenses the item. It's kind of a pain in the ass, but the system is designed to prevent shoplifting.

Even if, it is somewhat a matter for debate.
