Depends entirely on what you mean by Asian.

What you don't want to look like is an arab. Why? Because there are a lot of arabs in Sweden so there's nothing the least bit exotic about arabs. South-Eastern Asians will be confused for Arabs too, along with non-Arab Middle-Easterners (unless they have fair features). Not to say that this is a negative, really, just that by ethnicity itself you won't generally attract women.

But Eastern Asians are rare in Sweden and therefore exotic. Bring on the Japanese.

I thought the big stereotype about Oriental men (the opposite one to that black men have) was pretty widespread and believed in Sweden.

But anyway. The trouble with Oriental people, Asians, Arabs, etc... I find isn't to do with their skin colour or anything, its more cultural.
1: They tend not to mix so well. Though you get some nationalities like the Japanese and Persians who tend to fully throw themselves into things you then get the likes of the Chinese and Arabs who more often tend to stick to their own and not socialise in the normal way with the white folk. The Chinese in particular have a tendency to isolate themselves massivly.
There are of course exceptions from every country (one of my best friends is a hard drinking Chinese guy) but since we're generalising...

2: They have such strange ideas about relationships and the like. They just don't understand the bare basics about women. This comes on varying levels but at the worst you get some (my example comes from a Arab guy) who seem to think if a woman is in the slightest friendly to them that means they're boyfriend and girlfriend and they're going to get married.
And the whole idea of no sex before marriage (What the Chinese tell me tends to be the norm for them) is a utter dealbreaker for most westerners.


One important thing I'd add to foreigners expecting to come here and have a hot blonde fall for them is- hot is hot.
If you're considered hot back home then your chances are good of being considered hot here. If you're considered ugly at home though then its unlikely exoticness will improve this by too much.

I wouldn't say so. Not a lot of stereotypes exist about East Asians actually. Stereotypes most often exist of populations that people have some contact with or who are often shown in the media, etc.

You'll get "weirdos" in the West too. ;D But I would definitely say there are general cultural differences which is why I tend to stick to cultural groups more similar to mine. But there are exceptions to any rule and if an asians make an attempt to get into the Swedish "dating culture" I'm sure they'll be welcomed.

Ive only dated English and Swedish but always foúnd German girls to be a good time.

I met a girl out last night with a mix of Korean, Swedish and American. She was gorgeous!

As for Spanish girls, the locals working in the restaurants or just around in Barcelona the other week were amazing.
