having lived in both countries for a long time, this is quite a pointless comparison.
for starters, canada is the 2nd biggest country in the world with a population of over 3 times of sweden's. the cities in canada are very different, some are cold and some, believe it or not aren't covered in snow and frozen! if you compare vancouver with stockholm, they are similar in a lot of ways but how can you argue that one country is better or not than another. if you did, it would be easy to come up with a counterargument. both are great countries and the grass is always greener wherever you are. |

I would say there are more choices of goods and services in Canada, then in Sweden.
On the other hand, in my opinion, cell phone industry is better in Sweden then in Canada. Canadians are saddled with these ridiculous 3 years contracts and competition among major providers is almost non-existent. |
