I had a look at Amazon Canada and USA and I couldn't find anything with free or at least cheap shipping to Sweden. With .co.uk you can get free delivery on pretty much anything directly sold by Amazon provided you spend above the threshold. with the USA Amazon, the only shipping option i could see was priority international and it wasn't cheap.
Am I missing a trick? |

@Gordy Yes... that Swedish webshop seems good value...but, and I did say it was in their massive sale (-50%), we have ordered modern freestanding (like the Iris on Swedish site), smaller length 1500 mm inc waste 228 GBPounds, plus 245GBP shipping & insurance.

I do think that you only get free shipping with Amazon uk if items are sent to the UK, for outside of the UK, it is not free...I do buy a lot on amazon UK, never got anything without having to pay for the shipping even when directly bought from Amazon...perhaps I dont spend enough, I dont know... |

That's not true. I have had free super saver delivery a few times, even to Sweden. Not all products offer this though, as maybe they are sold by other companies than Amazon themselves. I reckon that's probably what's happened to you.

I'll do most shopping in the US, usually on manufacturer sites or Newegg for electronics and use www.myus.com or similar to have it shipped as a 'gift' so you avoid paying import taxes.

Your order needs to qualify for super saver delivery (free), the total must be over £25 (that is, £25 of super saver qualifying items). You can only get this supersaver delivery with items fulfilled by amazon themselves and not through the marketplace. The seller integration on Amazon is very tightly woven into their system so at a glance it can be tricky to know if you're buying from amazon or another seller but it does say on a couple of places on each product place who sells it. |

Thanks for the feedback, fogelfeifer, I just came across that Swedish webshop as they had a stand at the Hem&Villa show in Malmö last week and they had a number of show offers that looked like reasonable value. I haven't really started to shop around for that stuff yet but can now at least use them as a benchmark for pricing. |

For the really BIG MEN Yes, they are pricey but it does look like they have the sizes. Years ago I showed some skinny kid at a store that the only difference between the large, 2X, 3X and 4X cargo shorts that I couldn't bring past my thigh was the printing on the label. The lack of real 2X & 3X clothing has crippled my opportunities of becoming a champion race horse jockey here in Sweden and it is not fair at all! |

Have just discovered ...www.feelunique.com ...who offer free delivery worldwide on large range of shampoos/cosmetics/perfumes...etc. Just ordered some special anti-dandruff shampoo (nice) for the husband. He thought he'd done well to find it at 250SEK on internet...until I searched and found it at 13GBP delivered in 5 days!!! Result.

Hear me out. 99% of the time buying from abroad is cheaper but I've found 2 Swedish retailers of quality goods that are significantly cheaper than UK or German sites.
1. Yakkay Designer Bike Helmets at beachercruiser.se- okay the website looks handmade and the selection isn't top notch but...they delivered within 3 days and prices were about 30% cheaper than Ebay in Germany or Amazon.co.uk 2. Paul Loeser & Co. Baggage Specialists. My wife had a Rinowa Suitcase damaged by SAS and their insurers paid for a replacement. This little shop is amazing as their Rinowa Luggage is about 25-30% cheaper than list prices. For a product which is rarely discounted this is unbelievable. They are in Östermalm, Stockholm. |

For home plumbing and heating supplies these guys are good. Also free shipping to Sweden on orders over £40.
Their prices are competitive compared to Swedish suppliers. Just make sure to check all sizes and dimensions, worth ringing them before making the order. They give really good advice for installations etc... http://www.plumbingsuppliesandfittings.co.uk/ |

Cheap courier and package delivery from UK to Europe. They are typically 50% the price compared to DHL etc... Normally takes a few days longer for delivery but very good pricing.
