I have apparently met many Swedish celebrities in my time in Sweden, my wife points out after they've gone who they are. So far she has told me that I've met among others a musician, an actors, a big brother winner and some lady who designs hamburgers for Max.
I guess it doesn't take much to be a celebrity in Sweden. |

I have no idea who those people are cardoboy, burger designer? Maybe your wife just loves burgers. It's not like it's common knowledge in Sweden.

Yeah, All right.
I can remember it. Many years ago. I was unemployed and walking home from a BAD job interview on 5th ave. and I was not happy. Out side of a Barnes/Nobel book store, I saw Mai Brit, she looked at me, with her absolutely beautiful blue green eyes and smiled. I was in heaven, thoughts of employment were gone. God! What beauty! I remember her look and I will carry it to my grave. Swedish women....ROCK.....FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!! |

I have supposedly met a fair few famous swedes according to a friend of mine that used to work in a store I owned in Stockholm. However with me being as naive and unaware of swedish famous people it may have been a blessing in disguise as I treated them exactly the same way as any other person (with or without knowledge) ...
On a side note, I do believe I did have Debbie Harry in my store one time which if true is super cool, as I had a good 40 minute chat with her about life and travelling while her grandson? picked out some stuff. The funny thing was I didn't tweak until after she left ... which is nice as its one of those conversations that was truly interesting based on what she said and not who she was. |

My dad had a great chat with Mick Jagger when he was my dad's shop sometime back in the 70's and didn't have a clue who he was talking to until someone pointed him out in the papers 2 days later. |

Nic, have you heard of the woman who designs hamburgers? I have not. Unfortunately this is an unusually useless piece of information since i am disgusted by the cult of celebrity and do my best never to learn any of their names or anyting about their comings and goings. My heroes are found in political history and literature. |
