Hi

Does anyone know of any Army surplus stores in the Stockholm area? I want to buy some decent outdoor gear and the Army stuff is always the best.

thx

There used to be an Army surplus store at Järfälla, on fhe right, on E 18 on the way to Jacobsberg's IKEA.

It might have moved down to Vällingby, but I just don't recall the details.

Go to where I suggest, and ask the shop people there, where it has gone to.

I think that you can find it, and sorry to be not more certain about it but it was six or seven years ago when I was last looking for it.

Hej!

This is an old topic, but I encountered the same issue - and found an answer.

Web page http://www.soldf.com/links_webbshopping.html has a collection of Swedish surplus stores.

Few examples from that list (just in order they appeared, no opinion or comment of the shops themselves)

being ex military I won't consider military kit to be the best at all. Some of it is ok and pretty hard wearing, but that's because it isn't the most waterproof or windproof fabric, it certainly can't be compared to some of the most modern stuff.
Depending what you want it for, you can get some excellent hunting jackets etc., that are warm, waterproof and hardwearing, but you will of course pay a price, but don't forget the old adage, buy cheap, buy twice!!
