Again, my problem with this is the two camps
Camp A People who believe that Wikileaks is a good thing and that it served a great purpose when it published the documents Camp B People who believe that Wikileaks is a bad thing and that peoples lives were put in danger when it published the documents Most people in A believe that the women made up their story. Most people in B believe the women. A I like Julian, he could not have done this B I dislike Julian, of course he's guilty. Thereby refusing to judge this case on its own merits. I guess we are all guilty of this in some way. I just hope the courts can sort this out. |

I'm in camp A+ and B- !!
I think some of what he published was probably for the common good, some of it right was down right dangerous and if it didn't cost lives, it certainly caused harm. If he personally vetted all the info and took some responsibility for it, I would have less issue with him, instead he casts himself as the hero, governments as villians and publishes the lot. He is also quite happy to hide behind these government's laws or regimes (Ecuador) when it suits him. Pretty two faced and he certainly doesn't deserve respect. He clearly used several gullible and easily led people to obtain this classified data, knowing he wouldn't be held to account personally. So based on this credibility, do you believe the women or him? They have no reason to lie or make this up, he has lied already and has lots to lose. You decide, because at this rate the courts certainly won't be!! Past performance is often a great predictor of the future and he has a pretty tatty track records as far as morals go. |

Just been outside the assange embassy and can't tell you how many Police were guarding the building. Something like 16 visible, at least 2 plain clothed with the police constantly entering the building so I think they are also guarding it from the inside. I am not sure why the police presence is so great but one theory is that a airlift could be possible. However accessing the roof appears to be well protected.
Again it really begs the question why this case justifies so much resources allocated to it and it almost appears to be for show. So to those who have judged assange prior to trial or charges. You may rest easy in the knowledge that he is living the life of a prisoner. |

World War III is about to be started between the Pro Assange tribe and the Anti Assange tribe. Initial fighting to take place outside the Ecuadorian Embassy, following the evacuation of the London embassy due to an unlawful presence there of a man wanted for failing to surrender to his bail and removal of a supervision tag.
The antagonists are to line up facing one another in Knightsbridge, weapons will be harsh words at fifty paces. Lawyers and barrack room ditto to be to the fore, and the cause of the antagonism, one assange, to be placed between the two combating forces. After the war, the combatants must retire 100 paces, when refreshments will be served. Assange will be required to re-imburse his bailees prior to his departure for either Sweden or Ecuador. Failure to do so will render him liable to lynching on Tyburn Hill, an historic site for such events. Following the resultant melée, both sides will be requested to shake hands and make peace with one another - if that is now possible, prior to dispersal. |

So, maybe WWIII will be even shorter, then, but reads as though the refreshments will be needed.

Please. dear God, whatever you accomplish during your last days, make sure that we neither hear nor say anything more about Julian 'Leaky' Assange.
Whatever he set out to accomplish - and perhaps it amounted to something - the guy has completely outlived his usefulness, so make sure that no one speaks further, pro or con, about him, and if they still do, strike them dead with your last thunderbolt! Thanks! |

I can't believe you said that, Trow. Has old age caught up with you at last?
Indeed - mighty words of wisdom - unique in this day and age. Lang may your lum reek. |

Two minutes and five seconds of video. That is about all you need to see, since that is all this bloke is worth. Certainly not any more I hope.

I have read that the investigation had been dropped?
Is this part of a procedure, or does it have wider implications? |
