Hi all,

My wife and I are both expats living in Helsingborg and would love to join your next get together. I am Irish and my wife is from Atlanta, USA. It would be great to meet fellow English speakers. You mentioned something about next week. Any location in mind?

How does next sunday work for you all? Odd date perhaps, but have a few cold ones and enjoy a lazy sunday in the sun (wishful thinking I know).
Could start mid afternoon, have a few and some good laughs?? Nothing too late or heavy. Let me know and I will send an email to others.
If that works, we can set a place, etc.

www.awcmalmo.com

Its a great way to meet other expats and there are activities for kids and adults. There is also a international club in Skåne. I forget the name but just google it!

are any of you football (soccer) fans?

I'm thinking of heading up to Helsingborg for a game some time, would be awesome to meet for a beer beforehand and/or stand together at the game...

I'm in Malmö

Been away quite a while and missed all the replies here. Wasn't notified. Has there been a meeting already and if so when is the next gathering? Sounds like the Sunday get-together might have been a good one! Anyway I'll be checking back in a while for a response and hopefully join you guys next time. Take care all.

Hi everyone! Moving to Helsingborg in February. Would love to have English speaking friends and grab drinks when I arrive! Just curious as to how you all found jobs and if anyone can help me.I am having difficulty finding a job. I think I may be working in a kitchen when I arrive for a few weeks until I somewhat get on my feet, but will need something full-time to pay the bills. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Hello everyone

I'm an expat from the US now in Helsingborg. I am married to a Swede and I'm looking to make new friends from all walks of life. My husband and I (he more than me) enjoy cigars and as a hobby have a small cigar internet shop. Aside from that I wanted to connect with some of the ladies in the area and wanted to have a nice different girls night out type of night. With cigars, chocolate and wine (ladies do not have to smoke cigars to come to the party) I think it would be a nice informal and fun way to meet up and get to know each other. Please note that this is really a no strings attached type of party and there won't be any sales pitch or anything like that, just an opportunity to get to know each other and hang out. There will be a small fee to cover the wine, chocolate and food cost. The party is on Saturday November 26th. If interested contact me at nowinhbg@hotmail.com

Thanks!

Hello to all, Im still in Helsingborg and would like to catch up with anyone that is still intrested?
my email is denisebala@yahoo.co.uk
It would be nice if we could all meet in a pub/Coffee House in Helsingborg and get to know each other a bit more.
The cigar night sounded good, its a shame that i missed it by not checking this site often enough.
I found my job in The local (Proffice.se) they were my recruitment agent. I work for an english speaking company so i think i am lucky in that respect as i know it if very difficult to find work if you do not speak swedish, Manpower.se is another big agencie you could try.
Hope to here from you all soon smile.gif
