Don't think so - according to NTF:
Godkända vinterdäck Vinterdäck definieras enligt Vägverket som däck särskilt framtaget för vinterkörning och som är märkt M+S, M.S., M&S, M-S, MS eller Mud and Snow. Så kallade åretruntdäck utgör en kompromiss mellan förhållanden sommar- och vintertid och betraktas av Vägverket inte som särskilt framtagna för vinterkörning och är därför inte tillåtna när krav på vinterdäck gäller. so it seems like they would only be allowed after 31st March. |

Although I've just seen that one of them is called VECTOR 5+ MS so it looks like it would be OK after all and not counted as åretruntdäck!

I do not recommend this. Bilprovning told me I could use the tires (tyres for you Brits) on my truck year-round as they were rated M/S. Early one winter morning with no snow on the ground or any apparent ice, I hit a patch of blixthalka and ran up the side of a tree. Get the winter däck, you will be glad you did.

Buy proper Snow & Ice rated tires. And don't buy them here. Way too expensive. I got mine online from a German company and just had them mounted and balanced here. Saved quite a bit.

We bought a new set of Gislaved NordFrost 5 tyres. They've been through 3 winters now with no signs of wear or detachment of dubbs. Holds the car to the road like glue. Can thoroughly recommend as a good winter tyre.

Some People are tempted to use M&S all year round tyres all year round as then can legally be used. This is not a good strategy as the softer compound deforms as the temperature rises and they also burn more fuel.

Agreed. That said, I did leave my winter tires (Ultragrip 7+) on all year round the last two years since I was basically not around during July and August and temperatures in the other months rarely climbed much above 10 or 15, so the issue that Rick correctly mentions had a negligible impact.
In the meantime, I also got the Gislaved Nordfrost 5 now as a winter tire. I hate dubbdäcks with a passion and will be switching back to dubb-free (flirting with the Ultragrip Ice + this time) next winter but, that said, that one impressed meas far as dubbdäcks go, especially with respect to comfort and road noise and I would recommend it to the dubb-minded. Like others before me though, I do not recommend year-round tires. They are worse in the summer than a summer tire and - importantly - worse in winter than a winter tire, whether dubbed or not. I actually had one of the Vectors back in the early 2000s (in Western Europe, not Sweden) and was not impressed. |

Just because the tyres are marked M+S, M.S., M&S, M-S, MS or Mud and Snow does not make them legal in Sweden!!!!
They need to be classed as winter tyres too. "Däck särskilt framtaget för vinterkörning och som är märkt M+S, M.S., M&S, M-S, MS eller 'Mud and Snow'. The Scandinavian Tire & Rim Organization (STRO) has compiled a list of tyres for use in Sweden that comply with the Vägverkets requirements for winter tyres, (19 November 2010) See the list here Since Goodyear Vector 5+/Eagle Vector 2+ are not on the list I would say the answer to... Is it possible to use these tires during Winter months?. http://www.goodyear.eu/home_en/tires/vector-5-plus/index.jsp ...would be No. |

I suppose you could use them all year around, but I wouldn't recommend them.
I mean, the performance chart on its own website doesn't even look that good. |

How are Nokian WR G2? They're on the STRO list of approved winter tyres, so from that aspect they're ok. But an all-season tyre will never be as good as a dedicated winter tyre on snow and ice. One other consideration is that if you do alot of driving in the summer expect them to wear out fast. |
