Jack,
Missed most of it due rain and poor satellite reception. Do you like Tommy Smith as an announcer? My late wife knew him...He was Grand Marshall for the St Pat's parade a couple of years ago. Anyway he is hilarious, he once described Messi, (I think him) and praising his play and always being on the ball as"like Dracula on liver! LOL I think, also during that game he said of ? (bad reception) that he is the best thing on legs since Sophia Loren! Love that guy no matter what the game turns into he makes it fun! Uh Oh, now I'm thinking do you get the same broadcast and announcing team...if not...? GH |

I have just watched the most thrilling sports event of my life!
Steven Spielberg, Tom Hanks and all the writers in Hollywood could never write a scenario as the Man City vs QPR game...the announcers themselves were in awe! WOW! I'll bet a lot call in sick to work because over celebrating or in the depths of despair! Great sport!...great league! See the first and third posts of this thread! I TOLD YOU , |

I have never seen such an astonishing game and outcome in my entire life. It was just unbelievable. I was watching the game in a pub filled with "noisy" Man United supporters. They were all smiling and singing with joy for almost 90 minutes while I was raging with anger alone. As the final minutes approached I was hoping Sunderland would equalize and save City from another year of despair, but luckily they did it themselves. What amazing last five minutes could do to change football history! City has efficiently used "Fergies Time" to dethrone ManU. There will be no mockery of City this time from United and the victory may herald the arrival of a new giant next door that would dominate Premier League for many years. Superb players, manager, supporters and above all OUTCOME! Next aim is Champions League!

What I don't understand is; after Berbatov's 5 goal game, he never got many starts, he disappeared... it seems he was being punished!
As they say "wait til next year"! |
