Shipping Swedish DVDs to the U.S.

Haven't had any luck searching

Hello,

Does anyone know of any websites where one can buy Swedish DVDs and have them shipped to the U.S.? I'd like to start watching Swedish shows, but I need (Svensk) subtitles, which are usually only provided on the official DVD release. I'm particularly interested in Grotesco and Svensson Svensson at the moment.

Most DVDs are restricted by region. A european DVD won't work in a US machine unless the DVD is marked "all regions".

Not a problem since quite some time; region-free players are readily available. Or just buy two players; they are practically for free these days. But sure, region-free players haven't caught on in the US the way they have in Europe. A question of demand, I would guess.

Hello, many thanks. Pleased to see you today! Now I'm certainly keeping each one of these items in your mind since these can simply help me performing much better within not too distant future. and one more thing On my small friend's community forums they have added me on their community forum moves, but mine constantly rests in the bottom with the checklist and doesn't checklist once I post like it will for others. Is this a establishing I have to modify or perhaps is this a selection they have created?

I recall hearing some time back that most DVD players can actually be set to be region free.
There is usually a code that is entered via the remote into the players that unlocks the region restriction.
Look it up online to see if your model has such a code available.
Apparently outlets (certainly UK) used to have these codes and would give them out upon request.
Then you should be free to use Euro discs.
