Dear Hong Kong. I am sorry if I offended you with a little humor. You are pretty thin skinned for someone who often makes fun of others. As for your personal message threatening to send "you friends" to find me and eat my wife`'s eyes. Will see what police say about that.

You not just offend me with racist comment but billions of others. Do you have balls to call us to our faces. We will see, for sure.
Go to Police, you are the racist. |

It's unlikely you would ever get served a 'wok dog' these days . Here is a typical daily lunch dish

Although my family celebrates the Chinese New Year every year, we don't wok dogs.

Racism is criminal. Racists should be eradicated. As the Daleks would say - "All humans must be exterminated". But you know you are not doing yourself any favours, since I saw a recent article in the DM about dogs and China which may have been seen by other readers here, too. You might like to take a look yourself before condemning others . . . http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-20...mal-lovers.html Incidentally, I am curious to know exactly what your Chinese text might say. You could have translated it for us non-Chinese speaking folks. |

I'm sure he'll translate the text once he's figured out how to get the graphics thru google translate
He's a mean spirited and pathetic little troll whose vocab consists of "loser, sad, miserable, lonely" and other adjectives that no doubt only describe his own mental state. |

I haven't seen any Chinese New year celebrations. but many years ago during military service in Malaya, I saw a Chinese funeral, which in my ignorance I thought was a big celebration. I have seldom seen so many people, banners etc (Chinese style) and singing. Learning later what I had witnessed, I figured it was quite a way to go.
On the other matter of Chinese restaurants and Chinese food, more often than not, you leave the restaurant well satisfied, and usually unable to eat more, a feature that is not so usual with other restaurants. I have a couple of favourites, and despite there usually being quite a period between visits, I am recognised by the staff and welcomed personally. OK it is business, but it costs nothing and means quite a lot with regard to customer relations. Many years ago, whilst living in Gbg., one of my favourites was The Great Wall down on the river front, but things have changed, and I am seldom there these days. However you cannot expect these restaurants to keep the same owners and staff over 30-40 years. It is hardly logical. Yes, I still enjoy Chinese cooking. Reasonable price, reasonable quality, and mostly copious quantity. But the best cooking to be enjoyed is my own at home, with own choice of ingredients, time, atmosphere and contents of the glass. And no driving home afterwards! |
