I like Samuel L. Jackson for his acting, not for his his voting record.

Obama has the black vote locked up. More than 95% of all black voters vote for him, probably in large part simply because of the reason Samuel L. Jackson cited.
In fact, when Herman Cain began rising in the polls last year the Democratic National Committee and other sundry Obama allies became alarmed. That is when all of the women Cain allegedly sexually harassed in years past miraculously came forward at the same time. And the story all of a sudden became a huge conflagration in the national media. It was a coordinated strategy to bring Cain down. They couldn't have a conservative black man running against Obama on the other ticket as either president or vice-president, as that would significantly draw voters from the black demographic. It is critical to Obama's reelection efforts that he retain the 95%+ turn out from black voters and not have any competition in that area. (P.S. I voted for Obama in 2008, I am just telling it like it is in American politics with the above.) |

i didn't take sarah's comment as anything other than "obama offered what people considered "different" at the time they were voting. he wasn't from the established washington club and had messages that shook up the traditional views.
personally i like him now more than before because i believe in more centerist politics. as i heard someone put it, "bin laden is dead and GM and ford are alive" |

The reason why i don't like Obama's policies is that he took the US army out of Iraq. What is happening and will keep happening is that Iraqi idiots who used to live in US or Sweden or Eurpoe and thought of as educated and worldly - at least compared to the iraqis in the country- will take over and rip the country apart. They did that since 2003 and are still doing it. What i wish is for whoever wins presidential elections would bring US army or some of it back and keep it there. That is the only way to save what is left there.

well 'war' or 'invation' or whatever you choose to call it happened already and it can not be taken back. the 'invasion' -and am using your words, for me it was freedom!- happened because US army is no angel sent from above to save iraq but it is part of intricate and complex politics that involves one of the richest countries in oil. i want US army back and it is ok for them to stay as long as they take control out of some stupid iraqis 'who keep people busy with delusional religious ideals. people need rules. do you know that a parliament representative is paid 43000 USD per month?!! and for what?!!! they don't do a damn thing!! it disgusts me and they should be fired. people don't know that info and lots more info. they are kept in the dark and given stuff to think about to keep them busy. you probably do not understand what is like to live in a closed place with no connection to the outer world and ruled by a bloody psychopatic murderer for 35 years. it changes people. i don't mean it makes them bad, but it makes them incapable of following rules. rules need to be implemented by force for 10 years or so untill people learn how to follow the law again. money should be counted and tracked. whoever steals/bribes/ gets bribed should be punished harshly and made an example of. the only reason iraqis are not straving to death is because they have oil.
yes, police action sounds about right, like what happened in Korea. |

In other words the world needs to be under the heel of Uncle Sam's jackboot until the country has been bled dry of oil and every Iraqi is dead. or accepts the law according to YOU. as i heard someone put it, "bin laden is dead and GM and ford are alive" That "someone" was O., thumping his chest and reading from his four teleprompters. intricate and complex politics Intricacy and complexity are not the strong suits of some. For example, see following quote: Hitler had similar idea's, Is that your source of philosophy? It is well established that those deprived of the mental facilities for discussion are the first to resort to comparisons to Hitler. (btw, as one who frequently sneers at grammatical lapses of other posters--some of them writing in their second or third language--you will surely appreciate my pointing out that "idea's" is not the plural of idea.) |
