This is a thread for Swedes wanting to vent about their own country. Foreigners may post but only in support of Sweden.

I think it's disgusting how you can find sad drunks drinking vodka out of PET bottles outside Rasta in Falköping on a Friday night.

I hate how you're a youngster in Sweden until you're 35. My sister got an ungdomslägenhet at 28.

If the raggarares are raciing their cars up and down the street, does that make them racists?

I really hate Swedes whose only interest is getting on a weird boat to buy alcohol and then telling me how great it is to be able to get alcohol that cheaply. They think that fun equals alcohol!

Oh and why is it always cold on Midsummer's Eve??

Only allowed to praise Sweden! OK!

Yes, as a British Viking - I sincerely appreciate the fact that the Swedish countryside is so free from litter.

On my last visit to my homeland, it seemed to be covered in the stuff along each and every roadside.

Sweden is clean, it enjoys a clear atmosphere, and from the boating point of view it is pretty well free from tidal waters - 30cm perhaps but not much more. And those waters - mostly you can see the bottom, too. You need not wonder why I stayed here.

My military shoulder flash from 1951 indicates already a certain connection with Scandinavia. Attached Image

Ok as a foreigner in Sweden I would like to congratulate SL on its latest balls up with the blue line in central Stockholm. I understand that it relates to a set of points that has to be changed between T centralen and Kungsträdgården. The set of points apparently has to be ordered. What an excellent idea SL to keep your working capital down by not having any spare sets given that you must have goodness knows how much track across Stockholm. Thanks also for putting the signs back in the morning saying that there will be a train in Kungsträdgården in 2 minutes even through it takes about 15. This makes for an interesting and exciting beginning to my day. It is amazing that you've done all this for just an extra SEk 100 a month this year...or around 15%. Given that you are subsidised to the tune of around 50 per cent it means that I get all this entertainment for a true monthly cost of only SEK 1600.
