@Puffin,

But I guess if you got a message saying MR 999/999 Guaranteed place,
your place is really guaranteed and you are Admitted,
cause u know some students feel secure and dont advance with other admissions processes they might
have on their minds(Rest of EU unis)

Ya Puffin. It sounds really logical and the situation might stand as you have suggested. It might be hard to say anything before 16th March.

Best wishes for everyone.

@ Puffin

The SI scholarship deadline would be till 25th March. So in case, I am not admitted in the 1st round, looks like that I shall miss the scholarship chances also. Cause during the SI scholarship, we need to put the admitted course number if I am not mistaken and we have to explain in details why should I be chosen for this course?

So please correct me if I am wrong ! Based on my understanding, you have to get admitted in the 1st chance to be considered for the SI scholarship.

If it is a course which offers a place guarantee then you are most definitely in biggrin.gif - there are not so many of these around

1) KTH - Software Engineering for Distributed Systems
MAAU & 40 of a maximum (999) <----- why so low?

2) University of Gothenburg - Software Engineering

Anyone else who applied to any of these?

@ Puffin

Thank you. So you are suggesting that if I am able to secure a place then it would be easier to ensure SI scholarship? March 16 is at the corner and hoping for the best.

Hey guys,

due to my transcript getting lost and having had to resend it to University Admissions, my application is now considered late. I was wondering, if I have 978 of a maximum (999) ranking in the "Late Application" pool (and am rated as "Qualified"), do I still have a good chance of being admitted? or does that depend on how the applicants from the regular application pool respond? Thanks!

Hej guys,

I think I have the same problem as many of us - what does the maau number really show to us?

KTH
110 from 999

But I hope we all will know more in a few days!

One thing I want to ask (just to be shure I won't forget anything)!
We only have to reply to the results from March 16?
Up to now, we just have to check if our information/documents are correct and then wait till March 16?

Regards

Martin

@martingermany and others
As per the website..
Students will receive two Notification of Selection Results, one after each of the two selection rounds. The results of these selection rounds will be presented in your Notifications.
Understanding your results
The following terms may appear after the courses and programmes you applied to in your Notification of Selection Results:
Admitted – This means that you have been offered a place in the course or study programme. The term 'Admitted' will appear after the title.
Deleted – If this term appears after the title of the programme in your first Notification of Selection Results, this means that you did not meet the entrance requirements. The reason for not meeting the entry requirements could include missing documents, verification difficulties or insufficient knowledge of English. If the term 'Deleted' appears in your second notification, this may also mean that you have been offered a place in a course or study programme you gave higher priority to in your application.
Reserve or Res – This means you have been placed on a waiting list.
Late applications will be marked 'Not processed'.

Replying to your offer
You must reply to your first Notification of Selection Results in order to keep the places you've been offered, or to be placed on the reserve/waiting list for the second selection round.
Your first Notification of Selection Results after the first selection round will indicate the courses and programmes you have been offered a place in, or placed on reserve. You must reply to this offer in order to keep your place(s).
The second selection round will be based on how applicants reply to their first notification.

Hello guys!

I am not totally sure about this, it says guaranteed place but I am not totally sure about it.

I hope we all get good news next friday! I wish you all good luck!

Does anyone know about scholarships for Spanish people? I do not have to pay the fees since I am from a EU country, but I will have many problems to afford my life in Sweden unless I find a job/scholarship, I have seen many schoolarships for non europeans but I find actually quite hard to find schoolarships for us!

Thanks for your help!

I hate waiting more for the final results. I got 985 out of 999 for the Middle Eastern Studies in Lund University and have no idea whether my merit rating is high or not after reading in some forums that if you get under 999, admission will not be certain. Any guess about the chances of admission for 985 out of 999?

Hope the best for all of us!
