I was wondering how faithful swedish woman are in general? is it traditional to have only one partner in Sweden? and how do Swedish women compare to other girls in the world. Very Broad question but hey! any experiences people have had would be great to hear.

* Men across Europe are more faithful than women, in each country men are more likely to profess they don't cheat on their partners. With Swedish men being the most faithful with 79% answering no, followed by 76% of German men, 75% of French men, 74% of UK men and 70% of Spanish men
* Swedish women are least likely to cheat with 70% answering no they have never cheated on someone they are dating. French & Spanish women are more likely to cheat on their men as 36% of women surveyed in each country reported they have been unfaithful.
* Over a third of UK women have cheated on a partner they were dating 35%, closely followed by German women at 34%

Would you date someone who was married?

* UK singles are the most respectful of marriage as they would be the least likely to date a married person (35% of men, 19% of women)
* Over half the German and Swedish men surveyed (56% and 52% respectively) would date a married woman
* 45% of German women said they would date a married man followed by 27% of Swedish women

Interesting...I think Swedes break up if they find out their partner is unfaithful, whereas in other countries they stay married and cheat...

Well Nordic people is known for having a good sexlife in their relationships, so maybe the
numbers are right...
But...
Maybe the test in sweden was answerd by women/men uner 40yrs of age, while in France and Spain the age was 20-60 years of age. Women cheat more often when the gets closer to 40!??
Maybe people cheat less when there is children involved.!??

It would be interesting to factor in the overall satisfaction with relationships and with life from each survey group...

I've found that the "sexuality" of Swedish women (a generality) is misunderstood by Americans in particular. Becuase it's more common for Swedes to view sex as being a normal, healthy part of life and not either dirty or sinful or something to joke about, a lot of American men think they're willing to hop into bed with any slob and perform amazing acts.

My Swedish friends generally seem quicker to have sex though. More a second-date thing than a fourth-date thing. But I also get the impression they're quite monogamous in general.

She was over here to present Miss Sweden on TV3, which is not really watched a lot here but I just happened to swap channels as she was literally stumbling over some easy words and then went on to explain that she has a hard time with grownup words...she made a complete mess of it! We haven't seen her again. Recently she was referred to as "Svennis' ex-girlfriend" on a tabloid frontpage...

ARE Swedish women faithful.. Lets look at the numbers in terms of my experiences..
Married but had sex... Sv.. 0 RoW.. 3
Sambo but had sex.. Sv.. 4 RoW..0
Sex on 1st date... Sv..3 RoW.. 9
Sex on 2nd Date... Sv.. too many to publish RoW.. 4

So I think most findings are quite accurate..
