entry, by your question I'd guess you already know this, but in case not:Maurice Strong, like Al Gore, is one of the original global warming charlatans. The first director

Yes, cogito I do know that regarding Maurice Strong and a bit more. Having had the benefit of reviewing Trow's published works I know that he gets down to the details that nobody else would consider and few really care about. My little nudge to Trow was that I would be very open to his thoughts regarding Maurice Strong. It boggles my mind as to why people attempt to get under Trow's skin. Trow is an accomplished individual apparently made of Teflon and is immune to abuse(and a really nice guy). If the sometimes abstract threads that he starts do not interest forum participants I wish they would just move on instead of stopping to squat and leave a pile of stink. |

Just getting into this one.
He was not able to get into the bag alone...obviously he had help...now they say foul play cannot be determined...locking a person in a bag that could lead to suffocation is not foul play? Very interesting! http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/world_now/...h-williams.html |

The faulty investigation of this murder aka the cover up began shortly after Williams body was found when MI6 DG Sir John Sawers had a meeting with Met Chief Commissioner Sir Paul Stephenson, telling him, according to Gordon Thomas in The Daily Telegraph, not to pursue the killing carefully as it was a matter of national security which must be kept secret - what seems to have occurred.
Seems that neither of them testified before the inquest, so they never had to answer this most serious claim of SIS torpedoing a criminal investigation. The current Met Chief should have the narrative verdict reviewed, especially about alleged MI6 interference, as requested by Williams family. |

Hearing the evidence as this goes along seems to suggest a bizarre suicide. It hasn't been proved without doubt that it was impossible to lock the bag from inside. It is likely he has had much practice and nailed it. The fool.
Williams must be laughing in his grave though as that has given him the ultimately final claustrophobic experience. |

Moreover, Trow is usually polite, always literate and, through his wide-reading and experience, presents a challenge to the general I.Q. of this board. That could be the reason lesser minds get all wee-wee'd up, but then, as you point out, they could simply move on. For me, his abstractions are a refreshing break from the how-can-I-get-a-ride-on-the-Swedish-gravy-train posts. me, too, mind boggled. |

Thanks, folks. Most kind and much appreciatred.
Still cannot believe that no one is recognizing the most likely cause when wondering why Williams was probably murdered. This, of course, becomes well nigh impossible when one rules out that it had nothing to do with his work or private life. What the hell else is there! With British authorities beating around the bush about the whole scandal, it seems most unlikely that the perpetrators will ever be identified, especially when NSA is not on the list of suspects. The Met police are only testing the DNA of MI6 suspects when Americans seems more likely to have finished him off. Looks to me that its Special Collection Service poisoned him in early August 2010 for having handed over the Afghan Log to Assange for posting on Wikileaks. SCS is the successor to Wild Bill Harvey's D Division of the Agency, and was noted for its "executive action operations," expecially trying to kill Castro in all kinds of ways. Suspect that it was headed by a CIA officer at the time, and Leon Panetta was DCI. Seems now only the Chinese could solve the crime now but few would want to believe them if they volunteered that Williams was in the process of spying for them, and fleeing to China. Of course, he had done so, MI6 would never have acknowledged it, at best only that he was somehow missing. Oh, Just recalled a similar murder by the SCS, the assassination of German politician Uwe Barschal when Ted Shackley had it at his disposal in Geneva in 1987. The only thing really missing is the carryall. The killers just settled for putting the poor guy in a tub without it and while sedated and poisoned where he died. Barschal was threatening to exposed why Palme was killed. |

Trowbridge, they're discussing this this afternoon on BBC Radio2. They've just opened their phonelines for people to call in with their take on the situation. The number is 0500 288291 (Jeremy Vine) if you're interested.
Contact details for radio phone in so you know I'm not winding you up: http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio2/shows/jeremy-vine/contact/ Details of topics up for discussion during the programme today: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b01glylx |

QUOTE Still cannot believe that no one is recognizing the most likely cause when wondering why Williams was probably murdered. What like a sex game gone wrong? There is no evidence to show conclusively that GW was murdered although he "probably" was and there is no evidence to suggest anything else! QUOTE This, of course, becomes well nigh impossible when one rules out that it had nothing to do with his work or private life. As far as I can see nothing has been ruled out! The lack of evidence simply means that nothing has been proved and no conclusion come to. What they are saying is "we don't know" not "we rule out x, y and z"! QUOTE With British authorities beating around the bush about the whole scandal, it seems most unlikely that the perpetrators will ever be identified... Possibly.... if there were some of course. QUOTE especially when NSA is not on the list of suspects. Why would they be? Nothing indicates their involvement. When investigating a murder it is not practical to suspect everyone in the entire world, then eliminate them as suspects one by one; that is not the was an investigation works. On the contrary, the investigators follow "leads" based on any evidence found. Little evidence implies few (if any) leads. Asking why the NSA is not "on the list of suspects" is rather like asking why the Columbian National Syncronised Swimming Team is not on it. QUOTE The Met police are only testing the DNA of MI6 suspects when Americans seems more likely to have finished him off. And what evidence show the Americans to have "more likely" killed him? None, I suspect, just more wanton and irresponsible conjecture on your part. I could be wrong of course, and if this is the case, you will be able to provide some good, reliable evidence to back up such an extraordinary claim. QUOTE Looks to me that its Special Collection Service poisoned him in early August 2010 for having handed over the Afghan Log to Assange for posting on Wikileaks. SCS is the successor to Wild Bill Harvey's D Division of the Agency, and was noted for its "executive action operations," expecially trying to kill Castro in all kinds of ways. Suspect that it was headed by a CIA officer at the time, and Leon Panetta was DCI. Just more unwarranted conjecture made without the slightest justification. It may "look" to you like something, but to anyone used to critical thinking the conclusions you draw are wholly unfounded. QUOTE Seems now only the Chinese could solve the crime now but few would want to believe them if they volunteered that Williams was in the process of spying for them, and fleeing to China. On the other hand, perhaps he wasn't about to flee anywhere so China "volunteering" this information would only confuse the issue further. QUOTE Of course, he had done so, MI6 would never have acknowledged it, at best only that he was somehow missing. He isn't missing. He was found, albeit a few days after his death and in unexplained circumstances. Do you really think that if MI6 wanted to bump him off, they would do so in such a spectacularly headline grabbing way? That doesn't make any sense at all. During the Junta run years of Argentina it is alleged that "the disappeared" were simply flown far out to sea, then thrown out never to be found. If MI6 had wanted to make GW disappear, that would be a far better way of achieving it than dressing up the crime scene in such a tabloid news friendly way. @entry and cogito You are entitled to your opinions of course, but this is absolutely not the impression I have been given of Trow by his "contributions". |

Thanks, William.
Sent it an e-mail about why Gareth was murdered, and suggested it was done by Anglo-American securocrats because he was collecting information, apparently as a spy. |

An inquest is not allowed to portion out blame. (ie. Who did whatever naughty things), it is there to determine the Cause of Death.
If the verdict had been Suicide, or Death by Misadventure, then the case would have been closed. It was not. The police investigation continues. That is one reason why they needed to have the inquest, since that determines if the police investigation needed to continue, and something no one has bothered to mention ... Life Insurance, would not have paid out in case of suicide, nor if death by misadventure due to risky sex (without telling insurance company), nor would it in case of an open verdict. (since cause of death is not established). However, many life insurance policies DO tend to have a bonus payment if cause of death is determined to be "Unlawful Killing" (eg. murder). So, who would benefit from spreading risky sex-games, suicide ... (not all dark ops are government agencies) As for intelligence services involvement ... |

Hi William,
Did Vine ever talk about the Williams murder? I cannot find anything about it. And I did send him an e-mail, as this message shows: Isn't it possible that he was engaged in spying for a foreign power, and was killed by American NSA spooks, aided and abetted by MI6, when it was discovered? Thanks, Trowbridge Ford Don't know why more doesn't appear on the pasted response, but if anyone doubts my sending it, I can provide the original. Would help explain why he didn't - i.e., spooks "dark arts". If I were investigating this murder officailly, I would work on the assumption that Williams was poisoned in the States, or on the plane coming back to thr U.K. by fellow passengers acting as tourists but actually NSA agents working for its Special Collection Service. And they either called him, or he called them to come by shortly before he died. Investigators should start by checking the passenger list, especially if any passengers arranged to sit by him on the flight. It's the best situation to poison someone without suspicion or notice. |

No, I didn't.
Figured after writing three long articles about it which appeared on codshit.com, flyingcuttlefish picayune, and veterans today, and have been posted without my permission on many other sites that she would have known what I wrote, and would have gotten in touch with me. Haven't heard anything from her. And looking for how to contact her now by e-mail, I found nothing. Do you know how to contact her? If you do, please do, and tell her I can be reached at: trowbridge.ford@swipnet.se Little wonder that these dipsticks hardly solve anything serious since the are unable to do elementary research. |
