Hi all,
I'm hoping that someone wants to earn some Kronors to help me pick up a few pieces of furniture and transport them locally. Please PM me if you are, or know someone available that is reliable and careful. Professional rip off merchants need not apply as I won't pay three hours for an hours work. Thank you |

Why not hire a van and do the job yourself? Or don't you have a driving licence? Or the muscle?

I appreciate the time you have taken guys in trying to help but :
1) The man with van entries on blocket, annonsera and every other Swedish search engines is in 95% of all cases the same company. In addition no-one charges 150SEK for a job, it is misleading advertising from an un-professional outfit. 2) If I wanted to hire a van myself, I would do so. I can't and need a man with a van, nothing else, no advice on alternative solutions required. I was hoping that one of the many unemployed ex-pats on here would maybe be doing this kind of work, but it seems not. |

Sorry to say that any company you approach (Legitimate that is) will charge a minimum of 3-4 hours for the job. They do not charge for only 1 hour. So you are paying for 3-4 hours for the labour then on top of that they will charge you for the van.

In that case, you will have to fork out the cash, since very few would want to drop everything for a one-hour job, and getting it for free is what you are after. Sorry I bothered you mate. |

Hi Hamsterdam,
Do you mind if I ask who you ended up using? I am in the same situation, I just need 1 hour of work to pick up a sofa and a few smaller things. |
