I keep seeing lots of salami, but I haven't seen anything close to the greasy, disgusting pepperoni we have in the states. Can you get it anywhere here?
And wanton or egg roll wrappers... can you get them anywhere but in an Asian market? Does any grocery store carry them? I have never seen them. The closest major city to me is Gothenburg and that's over an hour away. I was hoping for something locally. Thanks for any help. |

You can find pepperoni at most Ica and Coop stores. We live in a small town (less than 20k people) and it's on the shelf all the time. It's called pepperoni salami and comes in a little resealable package in the sandwich meat (pålägg) section. It doesn't seem as spicy as the stuff in the states but it works and it comes complete with the orange grease.
Wanton and egg roll wrappers are also in a lot of stores now in the foreign food section. If you can't find them there, you might check and see if there's any small Asian grocery stores in your area. Good luck! |

Thank you! I don't think I have ever checked in Coop. I will have to do that. I will also ask there about wanton wrappers. If not, maybe I will be adventurous next time I am in Gothenburg.

That stuff tastes nothing like the pepperoni you get in the states (and the UK for that matter). The only place I have found that serves it (US pepperoni) on pizzas is Pizzahut. |

Hemköp carries pepperoni, and it is exactly the same as in the states.
