Hello,
I am a new comer to Stockholm so really don't know how to send the package. I have to send the box of breastbump to my friend in another city. However, I don't know which way is the cheapest and where I can go to send (I check online but can not find the detailed information).
For example, with Posten.se, where I should go to send the package.
Thank you for your help.

Best off using the likes of Shenker- much cheaper and the pacage always gets there faster and in one piece... which is more than I can say for posten. Anything beyond a small envolpe is beyond their capability

Schenker is crap - don't do it - they have lost so many of my parcels it is unbelievble - on the plus side I often end up with double stuff when schenker find it 3-4 months later

UPS are scammers as well

you can send stuff by post easily as many ICA supermarkets have a post counter - within Sweden you can save money by sending parcels Bpost (2nd class)

Breastbump is the one to take milk out to feed the baby smile.gif. By the way, I want to know whether I have to pack it before going to ICA, because some of the parts don't have the outside box. And before what time I have to go there?
Sorry to ask so much because I have to work so can not go out for a long time.
Thanks.
Regards

Usually best to pack it first - although some places sell packing materials

I guess diffent people have differnent experiences. Ive had problems every single time ive used posten. never had a problem with sheker, but maybe i was lucky- dhl instead?

I had a painting sent with posten, there was 10 times more bublle wrap than there was painting, 2 boxes inside each other also- and it was almost impossible to damage, but they managed to rip it to pieces inside.
had a kitchen front sent by signed delivery. they showed up 4 days late and then claimed we were not in (which we were!) the part was sent to a storage facilty the other side of the country , so had to wait another 6 days (we paid for next day delivery as we had to take a day off work and have a carpenter in) when it did arrive they wanted to chage an extra delivery fee for bringing it back (claiming we were not there first time) if we refused it would be sent back again the other side of the country. so we paid, then we opened and found the part had been smashed to pieces by posten. we also had to take another day off work as they would only say the time as "afternoon" or "morning"
Ordered a washing machine from on/off last year, they used to deliver with posten (probably part of the reason they went bust!) Under the agreement they refused to bring it up any stiars.. that been bad enough they didnt even bring it near the complex, they just dumped it outside the apartment block on the street in the rain and left a small sticker in our door.
recently ordered photos online.- got sent to the wrong delivery place (eg an ica 10 km away in the middle of nowhere) Have no car and there is no bus there so had to take a taxi- as posten refused to send it to my regular ica 5 minutes walk away!
So for me Id rather pay 5 times more than have Posten anywhere near it!
Maybe I have just been unluky (12 times!) in saying that they almost get letters delivered in great time (except those bizzare ones in the news that show up after 50 years somehow "lost" in their sorting office!)
