Im not working full time i'm working casual as a substitute teacher.
I earn about 7-14 thousand a month before tax, but it varies if teachers are sick or not. I'm paying 30 percent tax. I really don't know how tax works here... i asked the accountant at my work and she didn't really explain it either... |

It depends - if you have been tax coded correctly you might not get anything back at all
If you have had some months with no work then you might be due a small refund for personal allowance |

If you only make 7-14 k a month your tax will definitely not be 30%, it is just a table they use for your preliminary payments.
Say that you earn 11k/month on average, then your total tax will be about 1800/month, i.e. 16%. If you earn 14k/month on average, then your total tax will be 2550/month, i.e. 18.2%. etc |
