Anyone surprised? And also, why is it that whenever there is a hidden-camera expose on these places, it always confirms what so-called, "xenophobes" say about them? |

i'm sure if you set a similar test for the catholic church, except with pedos confessing, they would probably get told to say 5 hail marys and send them on their way! All religions are flawed just in different ways.

Strange Title .... especially given the story printed on TL states :
"Mosques' advice: 'don't report abusive husbands' Either way, anyone who looks into the history of this user will see they have a long history of looking to target this one particular group for whoever reason. |

Feel free to take a hidden camera into any church and find out! Your accusation has no base until you or someone else does that. The story in The Local today (as well as other investigative reports) are proven fact for all to see. |

And anyone who looks into your history will clearly see that you are anti-anything Anglo. In fact, Byke, you'd probably prefer that people don't know this sort of thing is going on in their society. Just keep everyone's head buried in the sand....nothing going on here. |

Is it not time to forbid these Imams to give advise and sermon until they have been to a re-schooling...in the Swedish law and give a warning to the mosques that have allowed them to give advise and sermons....
There should also be a posting why the Imam has be suspended... If a mosque violates this a second time a closing of said mosque for 1-2-3- months.... and no government funding for double that time.... This should start to get the Muslim community not to think that they are above Swedish law.... |

I would say anti-anything Swedish... And your second statement about keeping heads buried doesn't sound anything like him at all. |

It gives great pleasure when 2 opposites of a spectrum come together in an attempt to debunk a common foe.
It puts into perspective the reality of views in relation to those they oppose. Now shall we get the pointy hats out now, or will ikea bed sheets do? |

Well, perhaps I am lumping him in with Rick. However, it's pretty obvious that Byke doesn't want to see an article like this posted since it disproves his pro-Muslim immigration stance...along with reems of statistics and factual evidence. As far as "debunking," I've seen none of that. He'll have to actually comment on the article to do that and we all know that's not going to happen. |

it is proven in many European countries, the church refused to report it's clergy when they knew they were Pedos, even now they won't acknowledge this, I see no one complaining and millions still go to and fund the churches in Europe. If you target religion, target them all as they all have issues. It would just appear this TV programme ties in with your views on immigration? |

Does that mean that the Catholic Church promotes child abuse? Using the same logic as the OP argues this would seem to be the case considering that the Pope and the Clergy acknowledge that they want to deal with accusations of child abuse internally and not involve the law. i.e. "don't tell the police if you or your child is/was being abused. Tell us and we will deal with it by moving said priest to another parish and pretend it never happened."
Religious institutions are flawed by nature. In the same way that there is outrage about the catholic abuse scandal there is also outrage about the statements made by the Imam as per the article. Outrage is good, however selective outrage is a nasty, nasty thing. |
