Hi, I would like to find out if there are any beauty parlors that do threading and Indian facials?

What exactly is an Indian facial? I know what threading is.
I would think that there would be threading places run by Middle Eastern beauty salons (now beauty parlour is a term that was used by my grandmother, something I haven't heard of in a long time :-)thanks for reminding me of that. Middle Eastern enclaves located in the bigger Swedish cities would most likely have threading services, you need to ask someone who is Middle Eastern or Indian. Threading btw for those who don't know is, an old art used mainly by women to getrid of unwanted hair since women from certain places tend to be extra hairy and need a quick and effective way to get rid of unwanted hair. I was in Superdrugs (or was it Boots?) in Cambridge the other day and there was an Indian woman doing threading for 5 pounds. She had a small station in the store and was doing a brisk business there. In Sweden however, you should look for small salons that offers full services in places where Middle easterns and indians tend to live. |

Hi Divan, glad I could bring back some memories. Indian facial is done with herbal products and it involves quite a bit of facial massage.

Hey Cindy where are you located? I remember seeing a salon that offered threading near Varnhem (Malmö) and also in Södermalm (Stockholm which is run by Assyrians or people from the old part which was once known as Assyrians) Don't remember the names
Maybe we should start a business doing threading and your indian facials :-) |
