There used to be a few places (the plays, flipper cafe etc) but they all seem to have disappeared.

There is a place called laser something or other that did have a few of machines.
They were based up near the hard rock cafe. not sure if they still do.

Wow... I've just had my horizons widened. I never imagined anyone could miss having a Claw Machine around. Good luck to you Martin and welcome to Sweden and the Local!

I think generally there has been a slow faze out of such machines.
With a greater emphasis on game consoles (playstation, xbox etc) usually sponsoring such areas.

In the past when at Gröna Lund I have saw many machines removed for such game console replacement, though I am not sure if this was permanent.

You also may need to consider the gambling laws in Sweden and where children are allowed to enter.

You can try Heron city out at Kungens Kurva go to O'learys bowling which still has alot or machines to play on not as much as maybe what you can find back home. Otherwise the theme park in göteborg called liseberg has/had a big games hall
