Why don't I just come right out and say what everyone else is thinking. The kind of immigrants we are talking about are in fact not educated or hard-working British people (or other European nationals), they are islamic fundamentalists from Somalia, Afghanistan and North Africa which my beloved country seems to love importing to no end. There is absolutely NO comparison as to who is going to be more useful to the Swedish community: someone who believes women should be covered from head to toe and should be seen and not heard, or someone with a Master's degree in engineering or computer science who's first thought upon seeing an uncovered woman is in fact not to rape and murder her. Don't even try and compare these two groups of people.

Interesting isn't it that a Swede told me that many years ago that the Finns, Yugoslavs and Italians were regarded in exactly the same way that is currently reserved for these *groups* that you are talking of - the Finns/Yugoslavs/Italians were blamed for crime/violence/non assimilation etc etc It seems that some people just always wants another group to blame.... |

How lucky you are to have been born in your ivory tower! We don't choose where we are born, or how we are educated, what next immigrants welcome just not Muslims? No wonder the world has problems when people think like you, you sound as under educated as the people you descibe |

Moving to some countries is harder than moving to the others.

And you think ALL people from those areas are fundamentalists? |

Not all, but a significant enough amount are to enable me to say this. I am just saying what a lot of other people are thinking and are too cowardly to say it, "don't shoot the messenger". If you deny it you are in fact the ones living in your ivory towers thinking that everything is fine when in fact it is not!

What if the messenger is talking ill-informed, bigoted nonsense as usual?

And you think ALL people from those areas are fundamentalists? I disagree with SD's hardline approach on immigration, but there is a valid question of allowing many people to immigrate into Sweden, whose fundamental morals and beliefs are often in direct opposition to Sweden's. If 100k people, whose religious approach is that women are secondary citizens to men relative to Swedish cultural beliefs, are dumped in a suburb and allowed to maintain these beliefs, then it's going to cause problems...as it has. The solution is probably along the lines of measured open borders, better integration and education, rather than to just dump them somewhere and hope that everything will be ok. |

What if the messenger is talking ill-informed, bigoted nonsense as usual? People who talk nonsense are people such as yourself who try to correct the English of others and fail to do so. I am simply putting forward the views of many people: Sweden takes too many immigrants from the wrong countries and it is damaging the country. |

"Bortsett" doesn't mean apart in this context. It means something like disregarding. 57.8% of the people in the poll think SD has the best immigration policies, no matter what party they vote for. |

QUOTE People who talk nonsense are people such as yourself who try to correct the English of others and fail to do so. I am simply putting forward the views of many people: Sweden takes too many immigrants from the wrong countries and it is damaging the country. So you didn't answer the question... that was predictable! It is like this, if a messenger comes with a message which is clearly based on ignorance and bigotry, then one can perhaps excuse him on the basis that he is ill-informed and doesn't know any better. Once the gaps in his education are remedied, if he then returns with the same message again and again then is not the messenger to blame for continuing to spread a message which he knows is based on fallacy? I am quite aware that many people hold similar views at your own. Without access to the exact demographic of these people, one must therefore assume that they fall largely into the statistical model of a far-right sympathiser, that of being young, under-educated and below average intelligence, most likely form a disadvantaged background etc. There will always be a number of people who hold virtually any view, but reality is not democratic and if their views are based on ignorance, then they are likely to be wrong. |

It seems you are the one who is uneducated. Simple scenario should free up your mind from your left-wing ivory tower bull.shi.t - Mr Abdul Mohammed Al'Vad som helst comes to Sweden with no comparable level of education, no working knowledge of Swedish and barely any working knowledge of English. He has arrived from a country whose culture is COMPLETELY different to our own. What are we to do with him? There is already a shortage of jobs across Europe in general, why take in more refugees? Why take in uneducated people? (the standard of education in countries like Somalia and Afghanistan is horribly low), why put an increased burden on the tax liabilities of the Swedish state? When you can answer these questions then maybe people will take your rubbish seriously.

The reason is that the majority of the population are not as sociopathic as you evidently, and as such have some empathy towards other human beings. When people are fleeing persecution and genocide in other countries it is admirable that countries such as Sweden do what they can to help limited though that may be. So that's why; because we are not all self-centred arseholes. Next question.
And once again you show your ignorance as to the people you loathe. Not all Muslim immigrants (and I infer this from your use of the name Mohammed) are poorly educated. Many people from places such as Iraq are indeed far better educated than you seem to be. Had you more life-experience you would already know this. I work frequently with people immigrants who were once asylum seekers but who now work in professional highly qualified jobs and as such confer a boost to Sweden's economy rather than a burden on it. |
