Hi everyone
I'm moving over to Karlskrona to study in August . The school i'm going to is Blekinge Institute of Technology. It's gonna be my first time in Sweden. So anyone can share what life is like in Karlskrona, how's the lifestyle, how are the people like, also, seeing that it's near the sea, are there lots of beach activities? Any one with any other tips or advice would be much appreciated! |

Karlskrona is an old, midsized and genuine swedish town and all that comes with it. It has 35.000 inhabitants and parts of the town is located on an island. As you say the connection to the sea is very potent. There is two beaches just some 100 m from the center which will fufill your needs. A good spot to join other students and have a good time. And it`s as of late that the students and BTH has made an impact on the otherwise kinda sleepy town. It is growing and the students is a part of that. I`d say it really is at its best during the summer.
