What happens to the eu citizen who worked for last 1.5 years in Sweden and he loses his job? Is the right of residence automatically cancelled? Does he have a right for some unemployment benefits as he was registered in Försäkringskassan?

This only applies if You did not quit your job:

If You lose Your job You retain your right to reside if You go directly to Arbetsförmedlingen and register yourself as unemployed and seeking work. That will also entitle You to the basic unemployement benefit in Sweden, and a-kassa if you were a member of a Union a-kassa.

If You do not register yourself as unemployed and seeking work, You will lose Your right to reside.

btw: Unemployment benefit is not managed by Försäkringskassan.

There are 2 parts, the basic (grund) a-kassa, and the voluntary income related a-kassa which is managed by Unions which You pay into monthly and the payout during unemployment is based upon your previous salary.

Everyone over 20yr is entitled to basic (grund) a-kassa which is not income related, and does not require any a-kassa membership. If You meet the requirements of previous work hours, basically in this case here if the OP worked full-time for 1.5 years they easily qualify for the full payout, which is around 320 per day (before tax) ...less if working hours before unemployment do not quite meet the requirements.

Income related has similar rules but tops up the total amount to a maximum of 680 per day reducing over time.

Many unions have a special insurance that tops up the payment to 80% of real salary for a period.
