Dear All,
let me briefly explain the situation. I'm rather satisfied with my English grammar and vocabulary, however I don't like my [horrible] Russian accent at all =) Now I have about a month to improve it, before I relocate to France. Do you think it is possible to do it in Lund? What would you recommend? I'm not that concerned about the financial part, but rather about the studies' quality and efficiency. Regards, Constantine |

You should consider online lessons with an English language expert over Skype. You can find these people at for example the following sites:

Thanks, PDX. Did you have positive experience with this type of learning? How does it compare with face-to-face communication?
I thought of it as a "last resort" kind of solution, but at the same time I hoped for something slightly more interactive... I thought, something like a professional personal tutor would be the most efficient option, no? / Constantine |

It was a great experience. It actually is face-to-face communication with a professional personal tutor, no different than sitting with the person in the same room really. You can book on short notice, decide the time yourself, have a great selection of tutors etc.

it is always good to speak to right people with accent you want.
you will gradually find the difference and start to imitate them. But it takes time. |
