But that's the way with your tales, zero evidence and if anybody asks for it, they must work for the enemy.

How can the Cold War be over when Stockholm is still looking for the killers of Olof Palme, and Washington is still offically looking for David Hemler who helped set him up as the fallguy for the non-nuclear conclusion to it - what it has apparently failed to do for the last 28 years. rolleyes.gif

Hemler apparently came out of the woodwork with the understanding that if nothing much is made of his desertion, certainly not understanding why he defected to Sweden when its right-wing in the military and intelligence seervices thought, like the looneys in Ollie North's Washington, Palme was in the process of selling out the country to Moscow.

And there are people who believe that Hemler was involved in that too, but it is only to see how concerned the public, especially in the USA, is about it.

I am most eager to see the book thrown at him, as he helped put us all at risk of a nuclear armageddon by claiming that the Soviets were in the process of again taking over the world, starting in Sweden. cool.gif

P. s. Not just anyone, skogsbo. I recall earlier in this thread being asked to supplly a one paragraph summary of my claims, and I did so without any claims about the character of the requester. The only posters I have no tolerance for are posters like you and your sock assortment.

Cold war over? You give me a Swedish politician and an immature USA deserter, I'll give you because of the collapse of the iron curtain, disintegration of ussr, fall of Berlin wall, return of semi democracy to some of eastern Europe, non proliferation of nuclear weapons, reasonable mature communications between governments...

Ps. A one paragragh summary still has ZERO evidence regardless of who it was written for?

Pps. Was a crashed chinook secretly on its way to pick up the deserter in sweden, when it was caught in a haarp reverberated shockwave, that bounced off the secret fission laser satellite, causing a cancellation in the plan to then fly back to England an prevent a massacre else where?

Cold War is over... Stockholm is not looking for for the killer of Palme, the Police are, not because of any old-time ideologies, but because it is an unsolved murder...just as they leave open other unsolved cases. When they get new credible evidence, they re-investigate... I assume they have checked your evidence and dismissed it as incredulous?

The national police, the Rikskriminalpolisen, are located in Stockholm, so it is investigating it.

And if the authorities are so careful in dealing with the public, why can you only assume that it has investigated my complaints - a few dozen letters to its Palme group, all the articles I have written about it and sent to Justice Ministeer Thomas Bodström, and calls to its Stig Edqvist and Magnus Törnör without any report - though indicated by the latter that there would be one - about it, even their being incredulous.

And the Cold War certainly isn't over because the West is so out to get Putin, the KGB chief in Dresden who so got on top of the Palme plot that the USSR had counter measures in place to win the Cold War if it became a shooting on - what North's people planned on winning - and might have if it had not been for all the spying for Moscow by Rick Ames, Bobert Hanssen, Ronald Pelton, Jonathan Pollard, et al.

Hemler coming in out of the cold shows that it is heating up more.

APPARENTLY

Used to say you have read or been told something although you are not certain it is true
Apparently it's going to rain today.

Used when the real situation is different from what you thought it was.

Apparently he's had enough of England and is going back to Australia.
I thought they were married but apparently not (= they are not married).

Used to say that something seems to be true, although it is not certain.

Apparently Trowbridge H Ford has Swedish Security Service protection

Just the expected distortion.

Never used the word Russian in post#3, the one to get lazy or ignorant posters up to speed about what I am claiming.

Why are you still acting as if it makes no sense?

Trow, what does seem to be missing from your story is the interview in 2000 on SVT with the then US Defence Secretary Caspar Weinberger where he clearly stated that there was then in those earlier times a clear need to test Swedish coastal defences. And it was necessary for the US to send submarines into Swedish waters both often and regularly. Adding that this was done after consultations with representatives of the Swedish Navy, and that the submarines that were seen during daytime in naval and/or populated areas were not Russian. They were there to provoke submarine hunts and to increase Swedish defence, which was an advantageous for Sweden and the US. And that there was certainly also Russian subs operating in the coastal waters.

Hmmmm ... why would anyone after consultations, then arrange for a poor guy to desert from the airforce, not talk with his family for 28 years, let them believe he was dead, live a false life ...when Sweden already knew via consultations that the US was in the waters, and obviously so were the russians...?

Just more evidence of what a busted bloke you are.

I did mention the testing of Sedish defenses, especially Operation NOTVARP - what was so important since Norwegian hydrographers had recorded its participants, and made General Haug increasingly sure that the suibs had all been NATO's.

While you site SoD Caspar Weinberger, he was clearly not only not in control of the US Navy but did not even know what it was up to. Navy Secretary John Lehman, Jr. was.

There were no Russian subs then, they were Soviet ones.

And as the article's theme was why Hemler defected to Sweden - i.e., it was necessary to keep the whole 'false flag' operation at Soviet expense going, so it could be ended by a non-nuclear war, what Palme's assassination was ultimately intended to trigger.

How about, still getting lost?

There is a saying ... Don't let the truth you believe get in the way of the truth.

The truth is:
- There were US operations around sweden, done in consultation with the Swedish Navy.
- There were Soviet subs in the waters.
- Hemler deserted for personal reasons.

The truth You believe is clouding the real truth that simple events do happen, and not everything has to be a convoluted inter-connected conspiracy.

Please provide the proof that Hemler did not desert for personal reasons?

To paraphrase in the style of monopoly ... Go to Hemler proof, do not pass Palme assassination, do not divert to insults.

As I have stated repeatedly, I cannot provide proof of anything, and neither can any other individual - only a court or a body possessing similar powers can do so.

I do think that evidence around the time just does not stack up with Hemler's claims.

Washington was in a most unstable situation at the time, withdrawing from the Third World, and adopting the course that the Swedish government, especially its Navy, had adopted about taking the fight to the Soviets - what US Navy John Lehman, Jr., helped arrange so well during Operation NOTVART and the Hårfjäarden incident.

The problem was that the set up Lehman arranged, and the Swedes, especially current Foreign Minister Carl Bildt, recently deceased official Sverker Åstrom and the Defence Staff, were pushing so hard was in danger of being exposed and falling apart. It needed revelations from Washington to give them a shot in the arm, and this is where Hemler comes in.

He had all the credentials to prove that he knew what he was talking about - top-secret clearance for working with one of the US Air Force's most covert bodies, the 6913 Electronic Security Squadron. And the Air Force just improved his credibility by canceling that clearance right after he disappeared, as if he were still finding in one of its offices. rolleyes.gif

Why he would disappear into most suspect Sweden makes no sense unless he was on an approved incredibly secret mission. Without some kind of approval, NSA would not just let the Air Force's OSI list him as a deserter; it would have its SCS find out where he had gone, and hunti him down - what seemed like a better place to desert to, given his alleged complaints.

It apparently made no effort to do so in the past 28 years, 22 of which have been after the fall of the Iron Curtain.

It's fairly certain that if the USAF suspected that he had gone behind the Iron Curtain, it would have gone to the trouble of finding him, and shipping him back to the States to face treason charges.

The reason neither NSA nor the Air Force did anything about it is that they knew where he was, and why. It was just impossible to do so until Stockholm had just forgotten about solving the Palme assassination and its fallout - what would have resulted in the USSR and its bloc winning the Cold War because of the spying Moscow obtained, and the countermeasures it took to allow Palme's assassination triggering an all-out nuclear war.

Doubt we are going to learn anything more about this than I have already stated.

Is it not possible that Hemler was doing exactly what he has said, just deserting (ie. No secret mission) ?

Hemler was a young chap of 21, he probably didnt have Your wide knowledge of the world, is it not possible that He was too young and didnt understand that there were better places to desert to, given his complaints, since Sweden has often been promoted as the place of neutrality ?
