(edit title) Residence Permit/PUT/Citizenship Fråga ...when you've lost your original sambo Options

It's finally time for me to re-apply for my residence permit!....Only I lost my sambo about 8 months ago. I moved in to my own apartment but we were on again and off again for a few months. Finally I met someone who really loves me for me and he moved in with me about 2 months ago.

Since I don't think I can apply for a PUT with my last sambo (I'm too scared the migrationboard will find out we really aren't together anymore) I guess I have to apply for another 2 year temporary one with my new boyfriend.

I'm not sure if they will be "upset" with me because I didn't inform them of the initial break-up. I don't know what to say about it. I want to be honest about the 8 month split in case they find out (who knows how..)
I could have got a work permit this whole time after the break up, but honestly I assumed me and the last boyfriend would work it out.

I'm sad because I really wanted to be on that 3 year track to citizenship, and I think this will put me back...3 more years. I was so close!

Has anyone ever been in this situation?

Don't expect a permanent residence permit soon but you may be granted a two year temporary residence permit.
