Think their all out after spending it on other parties.
Now if you had wanted to go to a James bond bash you may have had better luck. |

The line between individuality and being swedish is very blurred.
Thus one and the same. Heja Sverige ! |

Interesting that a government would even be expected to pay for something like this - guess India set a precedent. So does that mean that as someone who isn't religious, I can chose to have a trip to anywhere in the world subsidized? |

does really government pays for the people's religious trips/rituals? but why? does that also applies to other religious trips, like visiting buddhist temples? would they pay for my trip to ethiopia for paleontological research as a evolutionary paleontology enthusiast and atheist?

Haj bidrag that can't be true.
For the sake of sanity, I shall refuse to believe it. |

Please get real dude, you pay taxes and you get facalities as well, This does not include hajj. State does not owe you any thing and Muslim with this mentality are the peoblem , it is suppose to be from your own saving not from some charity. You know what i am sure that you are not even Muslim and try to poss as one with your hiden agenda.
In it are Signs manifest; (for example), the Station of Abraham; whoever enters it attains security; pilgrimage thereto is a duty men owe to Allah, those who are capable and can afford the journey; but if any deny faith, Allah stands not in need of any of His creatures” (Aal-`Imraan: 97). |

No idea about Haj. But I'm quite sure religious organizations do get money for different projects from the state. You can always contact your MP and demand it. @vinit is just troll-ing! However, as someone mentioned earlier, Sweden State seperated from Church sometime ago. The only connection is to all religions that are legally registered, where in the tax declaration You can choose to send a percentage of Your income to a recognised body. The reason it is done this way is because the Swedish Church realised that when the State was seperating it would be difficult to perform the collection from members, so the tax authorities provide an efficient mechanism for this collection for all recognised religions. I seriously doubt there is any public funding for specifically religious projects though, that would create a storm of protests, or have to be equalised for all, including non-religious. |
