Hej Locals,
I am looking for a unique date idea for a evening in Malmö. Being new to the area and not knowing anything about it, I am having difficulty finding something casual but different to do. I am looking for something a little off the beaten path, fun and casual. I really appreaciate any suggestions at all. Thanks! Mroden |

theatre, bit of a tangent to the classic cinema trip, both have the advantage that if they are as dull as dish water you don't need to talk much and can play the post viewing events either way, either cut and run, or go for a drink.
Tickets to a concert, sports event and so on. It depends how much you know on the person, their sporting interests, music etc.. could be complete gamble or a winner? Or if you know their personality a bit already through work or something, some kind of social event come course, like wine tasting but something different again. Or if flash, head on the train over the bridge to something there. |

If you really want to hook him/her in, do something exhilarating. Studies have shown that we feel closer to those with whom we have felt strong sensations. A roller coaster, or bungee-jumping or the like might also get you the benefits of misattribution of arousal: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Misattribution_of_arousal
Good luck and let us know how it goes! |

I second Puffin, Copenhagen would impress me as a girl
What kind of person is she/he? I went to a spa the other week with my partner. We saw a couple on a first date, the man looked irritated and the girl looked uncomfortable. Try not to do something too intimate on the first date! Something fun, intelligent and maybe even luxurious should your budget allow it (could even be a bottle of sparkling wine and some nice meats/cheese with some yummy bread |

I'll post this here for the OP- if feeling like being creative
10dl of plain normal every day flour ^^ 5 cloves of garlic optional 1 fresh chilli oregano (as much as you feel appropriate) Black pepper (as much as you like to normally have) Salt (use your judgement here) 20g fresh yeast 300ml water- maybe that's 3dl water(not sure on dl yet sorry) Get your flour, put half the water into a well in the centre, put in your salt and yeast. Mix with a fork... Then put the rest of your water in, mix again. Then add more water if you need too to get the right texture before kneading. Knead for 8 minutes. Then place in a pot, with a damp tea towel just held over the top of the pot and leave in a warm place. Sometimes I leave it on top of a saucepan on top of a colander on top of a plate... On a low setting ^^ Leave for 30 mins. Then add the rest of your ingredients. Use your judgement here and flavour to your own tastes. I really love garlic so I sometimes put more than 5 cloves in. Cringe if you like! But meh Knead for maybe 2/3 mins, but don't be so hard on it. Then let it sit again for 30-40 mins in the desired shape. Flour the top and bottom of it and re-dampen the tea towel. Then put the oven on at like 200. Cook until it's right (you know by the general colour and whether or not it sounds hollow when you tap the bottom of it. Eat fresh with good butter- Can be flavoured with garlic also... But I usually just have it with butter and it tastes more flavourful and garlic bread like than actual garlic bread This bread lasts 3 days. It's not the airiest of breads and 1000 people may say I'm doing it wrong. But considering the busy lives of my parents and the fact that school went as far as 'here's a cooking pot and that's a toaster,' I'm doing pretty well |

QUOTE 10dl of plain normal every day flour Not self-raising flour then. That's good because I heard that you can't get that in Sweden... |
