Steve, You are a criminal by working black. Doing what you need to survive incuding stealing and thieving? A self-admitted loser in Canada. You would get much more support and good advice if you grew up and abided by the laws. People don't like cheaters here because it is stealing from ALL of us.

"Not for nuttin"
No disrespect to the OP...but the headline for this thread could be subject to a little scrutiny by a...gasp...moderator and possibly be subject to...dare I say?...Removal! Revenge...f**k...ways to hurt people, etc...not a nice thing to ask of others...I mean how to hurt people using advice from Locallers! God forbid if a religion was mentioned...or what? |

You mean like complaining about the deletion of threads which clearly breached hate laws in Sweden?

Hey, so, i worked 2 shifts at this bar (black, i dont even have a personnumber yet) and the guy turned around and said that they were trial shifts and he doesnt think he needs
... (show full quote)
Sorry The employer can always say that it was indeed a verbal agreement for a trial couple of shift without pay, where they have now decided not to take you on. Note: Whilst it is tough to get a job ... never start upon a verbal agreement, always ask for something in writing, even just an email is OK. |

Steve, The sanctimonious outrage toward those who work black is common among those who derive all or part of their income from taxes, aka, Other People's Money.

Worked all my life, paid tax all my life, hence my dislike of those who don't.
Take another idea, perhaps the bar owner did verbally agree, but after 2 days realised the OP was a male appendage, not working and just trying to pull the girls. He refused to pay as the OP barely worked. There are always 2 sides to a story and we only have 1. |

Are you suggesting the IRS, HMRC, skatteverket etc has no right to investigate tax dodging, because their employees are funded through taxes? Think about your logic? |

To me it sounds as if the employer found out that the guy he had taken on was literally living up to his nickname and so gave him a bit of his own medicine.
The biter bit. Unions wouldn't help him, it is all they can manage to even help their own members. Should he turn grass, then who knows what might be waiting round the corner for him next time. This cannuk has not done himself any favours, and comes whining here using gutter language, so let him stew in his own juice. |

A repeat of the old wartime show - Johnny Cannuk's Review.
Yet I suspect Trow takes a peep - from time to time - to see what is being said - about him. He is doubtless lurking round some quiet corner somewhere, dreaming up a new fantastic theory with which to tempt folks. |

Act like a scumbag and you get treated like a scumbag... simple as. Case shut. End of story. Period. Yadda Yadda Yadda. (that applies equally for the job market as it does for how you post on a public forum) I have to say that your ambition to hurt this guy via closure of his business and loss of others jobs whist also deriving pleasure by wanting to starve his kids is not a set of qualities that would make you very employable in my eyes. You knew the job was 'black', you accepted it, you knew the risks. Live and learn. Without a p/n you will never be reimbursed your money legally thus you can forget about it. You are just out for blood and that will not end up good. |

Steve, The sanctimonious outrage toward those who work black is common among those who derive all or part of their income from taxes... Worked all my life, paid tax all my life, hence my dislike of those who don't. Irrelevant and disingenuous. Deriving income from taxpayers includes things like paternity/maternity leave and child allocations. Also employment in many useless public sector jobs. Are you suggesting the IRS, HMRC, skatteverket etc has no right to investigate tax dodging, because their employees are funded through taxes? Think about your logic? My logic is functioning fine, as it permits me to see through straw man argument. I never said anything about rights. Nor about whether or not you worked and paid taxes at some point in the past (public sector job, by chance?). Was talking about the heavy ooze of moral superiority in some replies to the OP. |
